It's hard for me to say best mod, there are several in my book
For the 9-grand engine I think the red-line warning beeper is one of the best, and for all S's a big round countersunk knob is another of the best mods

HATE the countersunk knob.
It's silly.
Why not just go even shorter and just convert it to dip switches.
It is a super no go for me.
Shift beeper is cool...

It's just removing some bolts and installing others
