How do you change Brake pads?
Have you checked the FAQ section or done a search?
There has got to be a detailed write up somewhere here and that would be the best answer you will get I think. To give you all the info you should have (we are talking about your brakes and a track school...) this question cannot be answered by just a minute of typing at the keyboard.

Nick,
Changing the brakes on an S isn't much more complicated than changing tires. Just a couple extra bolts to remove and something to push the piston back into the caliper to allow clearance between the rotor and the pads (a large flat bladed screw driver works fine to remove the old brakes but a large C-clamp or something similar will be needed before installing the new brake pads). You should also have a piece of sting, wire, or coat hangar to hold the caliper assembly up in the air while you're cleaning old parts and installing new. Just remember to loosen the cap on the brake master cylinder. It makes for an easier job.

I never loosen the reservoir cap and don't have any problems. Maybe it would be easier to push the piston back in but with a c clamp, it's really not an issue.
Rear brakes will need a large flat screwdriver to screw the piston back in (the parking brake uses a screw mechanism).
It almost takes more time to jack the car up and take the wheel off than it does to change pads...

All the How-To's are here, including a brake pad change.
