May 23rd Spring Drive in the Albany Area
DATE: 5/23/2015
TIME: Starts at 10 AM and wraps up by 2-3 PM at the lates.
START LOCATION: EG Town Library @ 10 Community Way, East Greenbush, NY 12061
Website: http://www.eastgreenbushlibrary.org/
DRIVE ROUTE: We'll take the back roads through Rensselaer County and into Columbia County where I intend to get us lost driving on some beautiful roads. The roads are great and there was only one small patch that was rough. We will leave at 10 AM from the EG Library and head out. We will stop for a beer tasting at the Chatham Brewing Company, and we can get lunch in the vicinity or go to Mexican. Drive will conclude in the EG area close to I-90 for those that travel from outside.
NOTE:
- We will be driving at a somewhat brisk pace, but will stick to the limit. The reasons being A) its safer and B) it will keep you from bottoming out in a pothole.
- Please check all fluids, tire pressure etc. We will be in the boonies.
- Bring radios if you have them.
- Please post up if you are in.
- The EG Library is a pretty quiet area. Please don't announce your arrival in a loud fashion.
CHATHAM BREWING - http://www.chathambrewing.com/
COYOTE FLACO - http://www.coyoteflaco.biz/#!coyoteflacoclaverack/c24vq
GLUTEN FREE BAKERY (another lunch option) - http://www.odbefree.com/

OK...I know I have been slacking. I wanted to put a feeler out for a drive on May 23rd.
The route is not yet known. I wanted to set a date so I can start setting time aside to come up with a route.
Originally I was planning one for June 27th to the Saratoga Auto Museum, but then Jake set the Mod Day up for then. He gets first priority as he probably has planned to work it around his schedule and what works for his wife.
So please post up and let me know if the date, May 23rd works for you.
June will likely be bad month for me to plan something. I anticipate traveling home to help my parents pack & move to their new apartment. Waiting on leave to be approved but that should go through. End of June is the tech day at Jake's. July has our trip to Watkins Glen followed by the Solidarity Drive. I figure we can do the museum in August and then Rensselaer-Columbia to close out the season.
Kindly let me know if you can make it on that date. Also, if you have any suggestion on route, please share them with me. I will work to make it happen. Thank you

Oh shoot..... Forgot that's Memorial Day weekend.
Probably won't get anyone to come out. Will still plan a route for future use and if nothing maybe I'll just drive it with M355 in tow. The roads have to meet his approval
I'll be busy weekend of spring fling but can others just tag along for the drive? I thought all vintage events were pay to drive
