I get in this way
- open door
- place right foot in car on floor
- sit down on seat
- pull left leg in car
- get situated in seat
- fasten seatbelt
- close door
I do the same. While exiting, I swivel and put both feet out and then haul myself out. Do this in both cars so its become a habit.

I don't think it has anything to do with enter/exit. More to do with rt foot. Heel more to middle of the floor tugging on the rt mat pin and pulling the mat to the center of the footwell.
Ah ha, and the bigger foot = bigger leverage to move the pin to the left

You too Zzziipp, for the idea on how to resolve the issue on the older AP1 models.

^ I think you should Jeff. Before Ricks or Modifry or one of the other S2KI sponsors decide to copy the idea

I'll sign up for wanting this fix, as soon as I find out how to upgrade my '01 single anchor to the newer dual anchor setup. I wish my only problem was that bunching up you've described.

now if only someone can come up with a solution to make the mat go over the hump in the floorboard that doesn't cost several hundred dollars.
