Shelf life on gear oil?
I have 3/4 of a quart of LE607 and 3/4 of a quart of Bel Ray Gear Saver 90. Both are left overs from new bottles after diff fluid changes and are probably a few years old. Can I use them?
While I'm at it, I have 3/4 of a quart of Honda MTF. Same deal. Same question.

I looked it up. Dont think it will be an issue if its only sat for a while.
I almost always end up with a half bottle of 10W-30. When I do the oil change, I drain the engine then use the half bottle to just pour some oil through there and if any is remaining, I add it to the new oil filter.

Keep in mind that it sat in the ground for millions and millions of years. All they did in hte cracking process was to separate it from the impurities and the other brands.
