Solidarity Drive For Levi IV - July 21 - Saturday
#32
Argh! I want to go as well but I'm contemplating the trip up from Putnam county. I think it would be a four and half hour drive or so. If there is room is it possible to put me on the maybe list. I would love to meet some more NY s2k owners!

Pressure Building on the drive organizer ?????
I checked out a few of the roads last weekend and yesterday on Google Maps to make sure they were open. One of my "bypass" roads appears to be closed - but I think I can still put together a pretty nice "on the fly" route as in years past. Should be a beautiful drive if the sun is out!
Mark, I hope to have at least one stop where you can work your photo magic.
With last year's storms, the roads are a little rough, but with eyes open, even lowered cars should be OK. About 50% back country roads in the woods, about 50% in open farm country. Plenty of beaver ponds, swamps, rivers and other miscellaneous bodies of water. A few mountains to see. A new bridge which we will try to utilize (assuming no rebellion by the masses!).
My theoretical plan is that we go "outbound" on both EP road and T road. I hope to get us over to the KHC road as well.
We will have to dodge a parade in Elizabethtown - or else be in it!
My goal is to have everyone back the the highway by around 3:00 p.m.
No real plan for a meal - will be hit or miss.
