I must have missed this posting when it was made last month.
This picture was taken on my last day of work at NYS Comptroller by Mr A2.
I believe we did have lunch together with another one of the original track rat Honda owners owners that I worked with for the past 22 yrs.
We had some fun times at work, but had even better times at the track. Sadly I had to tap out just as Aashish showed up to do his tour of duty at NYS.

I think I finally made a decision on the tires I'll be purchasing. Dunn Tire locally sells the Dunlop ZIII in 215/45 245/40 installed for less than I can get pretty much any contenders I was looking at through tire rack.

However, I haven't booked or purchased anything yet. SWMBO gave me the green light to finally build a new gaming PC after running my old one into the ground for the last 10 years. I'm kinda splurging a bit on that, and next month I'll splurge on the new tires. I think I'd get a takes-backsie from SWMBO if I bought new PC parts *and* tires in the same month.

My bank account is gonna hate me. Lots of points on the credit card though I suppose.

Good cal on tires. Those should be plenty fun to drive around on. Aren’t those the same ones you have on the car now?

Similar. I have the Dunlop Direzza ZII tires on there now.

I know now why I got such a bargain on them. They were already 2 years old when I bought them in 2015 from Tire Rack on closeout.

Not a bad tire.

Pros: Predictable loss of grip at the limits. Decent treadwear. Ok in the few times I drove in the wet.

Cons: Extremely loud. Gets hard as a rock after 7 years or so.

Of course, take all this with a grain of salt. The driver reviewing these tires is a legend only in his own mind.

Need to find a good auto body shop to replace and paint the rear bumper cover on my S.

Any tips on how to figure out if a place is good or not? My usual guy can't take me until at least June
and I want to get it fixed before that.

And think he has done a little touch up on a Blue Civic also.

The paint work is really nice and I too would vouch for them.

Mark - just ask your current guy. He may know someone that he can recommend. You also have Silverstone and that color needs good matching. If I were you, I would just wait and have your current guy do it and do it right. And keep in touch with him, who knows, he may have an opening and be able to get you in sooner.
