While I cant help but feel sorry for the loss of life here's another reason why "green electric cars" may not be so green or safer than gasoline vehicles

I think a lot of modern cars make for unsafe drivers. I did see that headline, but I had no idea there was loss of life involved until you shared the link. It is very sad.
Like you I am skeptical of Tesla and the "green" cars. There is only one of them I like.

It was on the track days thread. One of us shared an article about the money his dad spent IIRC. There was also another article I shared on that thread about whether Williams made the right call when they could have chosen from Felipe Nasr and the very highly regarded Pascal Wehrlein

Nice here too. Both cars are stored. I need to go home and trouble shoot the electrical problem on the VFR. I haven't been able to ride it for a week. I'll get it fixed and have to store it as the weather will be crap by then.

I'm undecided. I really want to keep it. It isn't worth that much in the big picture, and if I decide down the road to get back on a motorcycle, it'll cost me more money. The problem is my old body. I've been having hip problems for a couple of years, and this year I screwed up my knee and it is taking forever to heal. My Mom had both hips replaced and I'm afraid I'm headed that way. It was difficult to get on and off the bike this season. I don't think I put more than 1500 miles on it. (My usual is 5K miles.) I plan to see a doctor after the first of the year and see what can be done about it.
