Those phones save the consumer the headache of having to root the device. I like that LG one. It's pretty much the Nexus 7 with phone if I am not mistaken. I am sad that the Asus phone is gone.

edit .. I stand corrected. T-Mobile still offers that phone with a 59 buck charger. oooooooohhh

Nexus is definitely the way to go along with the Media importer app. This is what I will eventually do for Solostorm. For now it works fine on my 5" HTC DNA smartphone.

i bought it from amazon. damn didnt know about the price drop. i paid 199 for it. but ive always had good experience with amazon so i dont mind it. plus their customer service is great. this is gonna be my dedicated data logging tool lol

**EDIT** just checked staples, its 179 for the 16gb. i just got the 32 gb for 20 bux more. its the same price on amazon.

I also love amazon.com, so I know what you mean. But, since amazon charges taxes, I may pick it up from staples anyway and use the $20 savings for a nice case, etc.
