There were some brutal scenes in the original, like when Murphy got blasted repeatedly with a shotgun by Clarence. I just rewatched the scene the other day & was kind of taken back by it. Hadnt seen it since i was 12.

all i hv to say to this thread is wow. some of u guys are tools. who cares what people are interested in? shit entertainment is entertainment. get over it. Yeah our generation is the mindless tv drones while the old school stuff is all artists tripping on acid; etc. Way better role models right? give me a break.
Like wishiwasanasian said its what your interested in. Regardless the older generation never understands the youngins. which has always been true. just like your parents probably didnt understand wtf u guys were interested in. In OUR generation people like kanye west; etc actually matter. your telling me the current music industry (which btw i hate the rap industry right now, ill agree with anyone about how the rap game was sooo much better from mid 80s- late 90s) doesnt matter?
Some people actually know how to balance their lives. some people r mindless drones. while others can work, go to school, keep up mostly with mainstream society and politics. and not having a myspace, facebook, twitter page and not keeping up with mainstream society makes you more of a outcast. Not saying it cant be done, however, Facebook and all these networking sites are just that! Do you guys understand how much it helps with networking? do you understand how many internships and opportunities that they allow? Don't b jealous that our generation has a very big advantage and that some of us will accomplish alot. While keeping a very respectable gpa

and for some of us keeping up with the entertainment industry is a career path. Did you guys ever think that wishiwasanasian was in the fashion industry and thats why she was watching it? besides the entertainment value.
