What a great debate this thread has started! The present 15-25 year olds are no different than older generations when they were coming into their own. Its human nature to feel threatened/resent things that are foreign/different from what people are used to. (look at the tool who kept boasting about his NSX) I always find it interesting that people somehow think that OUR generation is any different than the ones that have come before us. There will always be people that are cynics, smart, stupid, followers and leaders. If people decide to follow social media more fervently than others, so be it. Talking about Kanye makes for great water cooler discussions and keeps oneself relevant with the more superfluous parts of our society. If someone can make a living out of being up with music and entertainment thats great! One of the hardest things in life is working at something that they really enjoy while still making enough money to survive.

Well said ..

I know what you mean about the difficulty of working and loving what you do.

I am in IT and as much as it stresses me the fukc out some days, I love it.
It gives me the power to shut down myspace and facebook from my firewall

I really wish George Carlin was still alive to shed some light on all things VMA. The man was sheer genius with putting things in real perspective. But .. he also had a long skit on just saying curses. Go figure..

But seriously, to each thier own is what I always say. Even though we dont all agree we at least have something in common... HONDA S2000 FTW!!!

i dont support MTV...they are one of the reasons why HIP HOP IS WHACK NOW!!!!!

Lil wayne solja boy mike jones and all that crap suck.

"Keep standing one the corner, the trash man will come collect you in the morning" - Canibus

also i find MTV to be racist...in a very subtle way. very racist...and they are smart with the way they do it.
