Just joined in OCT 09. Back home after basic training.
MOS = 68W (healthcare specialist aka medic)
will be going to fort sam houston for AIT!
thinking about purchasing a s2k.
any opinions?

 

make sure you saved your money from basic and AIT.. then when you get to your first base you can get your s2k. make sure you have a nice down payment.

I'll be an LT in about 6months if I can finish my degree on time, or a year if I need another semester. I'm trying to branch Armor or Infantry, but I'll take just about anything that won't have me behind a desk too often.

2nd Class Avionics Electrical Technician and Flight Mechanic on MH-65C rescue helicopters (E-5)

I get to work on every system on the helicopter and fly on them as a rescue hoist operator. my job

Marines for 4.5 years, E4 in Nov. 08, E3 again in March 09 ... E4 again January 1st . I made my mistakes my first enlistment, going much better second time around. 1st MOS M1A1 Tank Mechanic at Camp Lejeune, 2nd MOS Aviation Communication System Technician stuck at the glorious 29 Palms CA :hi:

 

Wow, what a loser! I am back in Iraq. I cant believe I wanted to do this again. be back soon though.
