army puts "Special forces" label on everything just about. you will never hear a delta or seal say he was special forces.
There is only 1 Special Forces. These soldiers wear a Tab Says "SPECIAL FORCES" on their left shoulder. Navy Seals are Navy Seals. They are not Special Forces. They are in Spec Ops like Rangers, 160th, Para Rescue, and etc.
"Delta Forces" Operation Detachment Alpha- Delta or ODA-D does not reveal themselves as part of the unit.

Start with google and/or maybe hit some books to read about Spec Ops community. You dont know enough to start comparing anything. After that if you want to learn more then lets talk.

no thanks, im not really interested in army groups. im plenty familiar with MARSOC and ive worked around seals several times. thats good enough for me.
I remember when marsoc was started up. Around when we got back from iraq in spring of 06. Took our badass plt cmdr....
I'm still amazed it took us this long to finally have "special" forces. I worked with seals a few times in iraq and I envied the fact they had a hardback humvee with the passenger side windo taken out and had a 240mounted....
We also had navy divers and I think rangers assist us when we were searching the canals for two of our Marines bodies that they eventually found after draining the entire canal because the divers were being little bitches and complaining about well doing their job.
