I served for 4 years in the Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry out of Edmonton. Returned to Canada in May after my 7 month tour to Kandahar Province. Anyone spend time in Nakhonay? What a shit show of IED's.

LOL the ANA are a joke. we spent most of the time babysitting them. They drink all their water like an hour into patrol so they can go back. They were answering phone calls and shit too while we were out looking for taliban.
The only time they did anything was when they sat down for a break and sat on a 155mm IED but it didnt go off. They all just ran into seperate directions lol.
I forget the name of that vehicle but its American EOD. I wanna say "Buffalo"
The vehicle behind my section is our LAV 3.
Also, Canadians never deployed into Iraq.

Answering calls...wow doesn't surprise me though the IA were just as bad, actually shot one of our Marines when we were on a patrol at night in fallujah.
Oh ok I remember them putting buffalos, warthogs, camels etc into service right as our deployment was ending in 06.
I remember rolling up on a few 155s that were set on a timer and seeing it, backing up and it going off right as I moved away. I was sure I was going to die lol
Ahh that could be why I never saw any Canadians the haha. I do like how we have the best cammies out of the four branches thanks to taking ya'll CANDAT

No cool guy badges since i spent most of my career doing competitive shooting.. trying to get the presidents 100. in 2007 I got 2nd place machinegun nation wide at the Winston P. Wilson nationals. Got 3rd place rife in Texas, 12th piston in Texas.
First deployment was to the Sinai Penensula Egypt from 2005-2007 with MFO rotation 49.
Second deployment was to Baghdad as the JVB PSD from 2008-2009. Every general/celeb/politician that flew into BIAP I provided security for, as well as lodging. Got to meet a lot of really cool people. Was on tv with Joe Biden came. Dipped my elbow in his eggs when I was handing him coffee. He didnt notice.

Having a jam sucks! Whoever designed the feed chute system should be shot.
I had HEI-T loaded in primary and secondary just because the mud huts are almost impossible to penetrate even when using Sabot rounds haha..
So glad to be out of that shit stain on earths underwear
Yea our Marine Corps version is amphibious and we use DU rounds. However I know during my deployment we couldn't use SABOT rounds so I'd assume the LAVs couldn't use DU rounds
How could ya'll not penetrate mud huts with sabot? We had to stop using them in iraq because they over penetrated and would end up ****** up houses well past what we engaged.
I thought that was an LAV but I only saw one in person once in 29 Stumps during cax. Lucky bastards lol
Nothing beats seeing someone hit with the sasr......
