The ones without the dealer markup and fully loaded are running under $50K. The new M3 already comes pretty equiped.

Ya wait til 2002 or is ot 2003? when the new redesigned audi s4 comes out, gonna look alot better plus better performance.But if you dont want to wait get oooh i dunno flip a coin.

The M3 is a better performer but aso harder edged. The S4 is a more comfortable car and is beautifully refined to drive.
My personal choice would be for an M3 for the same reason I prefer the S2000 over some of its competitors. It's hard and it's loud.
Either way, you won't be disapointed with either car.
NSX is a great car. I had one until late last year when I got the S2000 but it will also cost considerably more than either the M3 or the S4.
