ADHD? I'm not too sure, but I think you have to pay attention to get a ball into a rather tall hoop in bball. Especially when there are other kids who are paying attention trying to take the ball from you.

The thing is, with ADD, you get sick of putting (or trying to put) the ball through the hoop. So you start trying to put it through someone's head. Or through the floor. Or maybe putting it through the hoop by kicking it. Possibly you'd end up just running with it and getting to hold it for longer.

See how it'd be tough to get a cohesive team objective?

with 20 girls in the whole school, it's very hard to get a B-ball team going. Take some random 20 people, chances are there won't be 5 of them that are good in B-ball.
it's not about being disabled, it's about the limited choice the coach has. Kudos to the losing school.
