Is this is a fact? If so, any links where it can be confirmed? Thanks in advance.

 

Well as a former CL-S owner, I have heard all of the rumors. In fact most major magazines have reported that the 2002 CL-S will have a 6 speed. But the fact remains that the dealers have already recieved new brochures and what not, and a manual is not metioned. Only new options mentioned are the new colors available. People are saying maybe for 2003 model year. Who knows though...

 

None of the dealers here have brochures or are aware of a six-speed transmission.......patience, patience.....

 

In an interview in Automotive News, the president of Honda of America said the 6-speed CLs will be available this fall.

 

"Acura still has to focus on our volume sellers like the TL and RSX, and some new things for 2002 like a manual transmission for the CL. "

No, there was a later interview.

 

I've not heard this although when in conceptual stages it was suppose to be a more sporty car
