Your right, I like the "domestic Japan" model better than the US model for style, but the US is still OK.....for a minivan.

Yeah...my cousin (3 kids) was the first to get one of these. A couple of months later, and lots of preaching, my brother got one too. They've got really nice engines and when you take the chairs out, you've got some serious cargo room. Hopefully, if you decide on getting it, you won't have too much trouble. My bro got his for around MSRP, and he was on a waiting list for several months. When I got my S2000 5 months ago, the salesman told me that the Odyssey (atleast here in the Bay Area) had the longest waiting list, surpassing that for the limited production S2K! Good luck!

Right, then my comment does not prove any point in this situation then. Sorry folks.

Picked up my '02 Ody EX-L three weeks ago today. 1100 miles and love it.
It's very smooth and feels quick for a mini-van. After test driving the only other large mini-vans, the Dodge and Chrysler, it was the Ody for me.

One of the features that I really love is the remote sliding power doors on both sides. Initially, I thought that this was just so much fluff, but after using the van for awhile, I've changed my mind.

My Odyssey was made in Ohio, not Japan. My S2000 was made in Japan and to be honest, I don't see any quality difference in either one. I'll retract that statement, the carpets in the Odyssey are better quality than my S2000's are.

On the wait list for 2002 S2K right now, am also thinking about getting a 2002 Odyssey to complement the S2K. I was just wondering how much people are paying for the 2002 Odyssey EX-L Navi (Leather with Navi), this seems to be a rare combination (most ones I see are EX or EX-L). I would love to get EX with Navi (without leather), but they don't come in that combo.

I was just wondering how much people are paying, so I can have a ball park number to negotiate with the dealer. Thanx very much in advnace.
