So you do watch "24"?

Back on point - I actually like the show. I think it's a little bit too unbelievable this year (more so than past seasons). . . I mean, how did Chloe get from her house to CTU HQ in like 5 mins, through LA traffic, when she was rehired???
True this week when Jack said I'll be at CTU in 20 mins I was like ok Notice the time... and he DID get there after 20 mins. I wanted to make sure he got their in 'real time'.

The whole Chloe, She got re-hired BECAUSE when Michelle got implemented as Director of CTU she was like WhereTF is Chloe? So they told her Erin made her resign.. so she called Chloe and begged her to come back for the day, because Edgar is going crazy. Well she got re-hired (for the day supposedly) and is getting more $$ yet is technically under Edgar in rank not above him like she was before. All weird. We found this out cause she didn't like when Edgar was telling her to do things and they set that all straight. I kinda like her attitude cause she's like a no bs give it to them how it is type-a-girl.

Now i am just wating for them to write Kim (Jack's daughter) back into the script.

Since coverage of Abu Gharib was on tv it must be fantasy as well?

24 may be "just a tv show" to the truly ignorant but deep down it's really another incrementalist effort to slowly desensitize people in to accepting the notion of torture as being a necessity in everyday life. That and the fact that your civil liberties don't mean shit when there's a "hardass" like Jack Bauer in the room.
If you actually beleive people aren't tortured to reveal things they are hiding.. then you just don't live in the real world. WHY do you think that our Armed Forces are trained incase they get caught? What are they taught.. that by any means.. EVEN if they are tortured all they say is Their rank and their last name.. THAT'S IT!

My brother explained to me (he's in the AF) that everyone goes through survival school. They teach soliders how to act when they are captured as POWs.

Yes it's crazy how "24" shows that they are trying to get info from the terrorist. But 1) It's a TV Show and 2) They have to do anything now to save the Nation if not we are all gonna die!

You gotta stop reading too much into the show and just enjoy it for what it is.. ENTERTAINMENT.

This season started out with a bang, but a few episodes have left me thinking, is this possible. The past two episodes have been pretty good. I just wish they brought back Elisha Cuthbert....yum

This Season has been pretty different because they started out with a whole new set of characters, but I'm glad they are reintroducing some old ones.

The problem with 24, is that every Season they have to continue escalating the terrorism scenario in order to keep the franchise alive. This is why it's becoming almost absurd. I still love the show, but it is getting pretty out there.

If you think about it, the script has to follow some logical sequence, no matter how outrageous it is. By making the VP become the Pres., it left an opportunity to bring back Palmer. I'd like to see him get out into the field. Give the man a handgun and let him duke it out with the terrorists!

Since I am new this season, could you veterans tell me if I was to go and watch one of the previous three seasons, which one would be the best? I know someone with all 3 on DVD.
