This post with all it's errors proves that you get what you pay for in the education system. I'd say the raise was needed.
Thank you.

Tell that to Princeton.

And Princeton's ranked fifth in endowments ( at 12.7b) behind Yale, Harvard,Stanford and the Univ. of Texas.

Yes. . . with a nice chunk of that 12.7b in . . . real estate.

I sense sarcasm towards your wishes for my graduation.
Actually, that was the only thing that was remotely sincere. The rest was me being a complete dick.

I hope all those liberal CA students get arrested and kicked out of school. Its time they learn to have some responsibility for themselves and stop relying on others to continue spoon feeding them. Each generation seems to become less self-sufficient relying more heavily upon their parents and the government. Our current socialist government sure isn't helping that situation any though...

(for anyone who cares I'm 27 and graduated from college in 2006)

If you were a student in the UC system during the years that you were in college, I'm quite sure you would not have looked around in disgust at your colleagues who were being "spoon fed" with tuition at around half of what it will be next semester. In fact, I think it's pretty lame for anyone who benefited from dirt-cheap quality education to turn around and blame current students for being upset that the cost of education is going up dramatically exactly as the economy contracts, leaving no jobs even for top graduates.

Yes, college students are so very selfish. All they want is handouts. Come on.

Lay off of the quasi-libertarian me-me-me kool-aid, it's bad for your health. You're 27 - you should be angry at your parent's generation for mortgaging your future and that of your children with debt by failing to tax themselves enough to pay for all the neat shit they wanted the government to pay for. Don't blame the kids who are in college who might not have even voted in their first national or state-wide election.

everyone has a right to education so i think education should be affordable. if they are going to raise tuition then the schools should also assist students in finding grants or loans to cover the increase
