Default ----395lb max bench video. woot woot!---

Well Im getting closer to my goal(405-425).

was at 365 in summer (around 170lbs). then hit 375 in late 08 (175-180lbs). and today at the gym was 395 (190lbs). hoping for the big 4 plates soon.

Incline is the same but with weight adjusted because my max incline is 315-335lbs.

decline is the same again but I use it on the smith machine (we dont have a decline bench) usually finish up around 415-425 for my last set of 3-4.

Dumbell press

100lbs each hand 4 sets of 10 reps

Then butterflys on the machine with the stack (250lbs)and 10-20lbs on top. 4 sets of 8-10.


been training on and off since i was 15. and really hard for the past 2 years.

what is your height? benching this much at that body weight makes me wonder... do you work out legs at all or just bench. cause if you don't then i could understand benching that much at those weight, but if you do squat, i'm skeptical.

Im 5'10.

I do legs, but i dont squat. i can legpress 650lbs for about 6-8 reps.

ill do front squats ever now and then just for core strength, but i dont squat max.

shrugs for shoulders/traps. military press.

for tri's,

lots of tricept extensions. strait bar, ropes, kick backs, skull crushers, dips.

tricept is a support muscle for bench. so due to my bench, my tricepts are pretty strong

hate all you want. you havent been lifting with me for the past 5-6 years. you only see a finish project. not hours of work every week to get there.
