personally i would get samsung, im tired of sony products..

i cant remember what tv it was that had the external lights behind the tv that match the color of the picture (make sense?)

but ive watched a movie on one of those
and in the dark the lights actually really do make the experience better, mainly because of eye strain IMO

Samsung is the best LCD TV in my opinion. I just got a series 4 model and I'm very satisfied with it. And it's cheaper than Sony.

You can't go wrong with either one but I personally prefer Samsung.

I have the 46" Sony XBR6 model. It works well, no complaints and not really been using it that much for movies though, mainly just watching TV. I have a friend that has the 46" Samsung and he use it to play PS3 and watch Blu-Ray it look awesome. I don't have a PS3 or blu-ray player so... :'(


Either one should be fine, go with the less expensive one and save yourself some money.
