Default 7 year olds practicing CPR

Short clip of my girls practicing mouth to mask on youtube.

Most commercially available barrier devices are difficult to use and mouth to mouth has its risks. With this mask, even kids can master.

Thanks for viewing.

Very cool thing to teach them!

I became certified roughly 6 months ago, but I think I need a refresher

No, but we are trying to get the CPR mask recognized by the AHA and American Red Cross.

The whole purpose was to illustrate how the NuMask can be used effectively and easily by the layperson, even kids. You should consult the AHA BLS guidelines for the specifics of CPR.

The problem as I mentioned before is that all the commercially available barrier devices are difficult to use, even for trained providers. To think that the layperson will remember how to use them effectively is unrealistic. With the NuMask, once it's placed into the mouth, sealing is very easy, almost like traditional mouth to mouth technique.

Thanks for viewing and questions are welcomed.

The Large and Medium kits are different only in the size of the OPA, the oropharyngeal airway. The size of the mask is the same. These kits, however, are more relevant for the EMS providers and other trained personnel. If you are interested in the CPR for the layperson, then the CPR Kit is what you need. There is only one size for the IOM, our IntraOral Mask, and it can fit into the mouth of a 5-6 year old. However, In those who are younger and infants, you can simply place the mask OVER the mouth and apply the same grip. Most people don't have apprehension giving mouth to mouth to kids and infants so these kits are more relevant for adults, especially strangers.

We offer the CPR Kit in two cases, one that's portable and the other is bit larger. I don't expect the layperson to carry one around but it is definitely worthwhile to have one in your hourse, your car, your parent's house, etc just in case.
