The first time I saw those skits they were on a show called Saturday Night Live, only they were Gap Skits.
And that big guy is a rehash of Will Farrell....

A&F is lame. I have been in dance clubs that don't play the music that loud. Nothing special about the clothing.

Lots of stores with better clothing. Express, Bannana, etc.

A&F clothes are over priced. Express material is crap compared to what they're charging.

Different seasons, the employees are asked to wear certain colors and styles.
Looks like some one spends to much at A&F.

Maybe I'm 32 and crotchety already , but unless you're actually in to clothes, and I mean really in to them, why are you setting limits (one way or another)?

This is no slight on you personally Mitsukillin; you're not the only person that's said this (over the time I've been on the forum).

. . . I guess I don't get why people worry so much about clothes these days. I mean, I can understand shelling out serious duckets for designer clothes made by a designer who had their own unique design motifs, colors, patterns, and fabrics, but I DO NOT get why people are running around shelling out big money for t-shirts and jeans that are nothing more than what I bought at Mega-Lo-Mart, just with a non-Mega-Lo-Mart emblem pasted across the front. . . Abercrombie, AE, and Hollister aren't PAYING ME to advertise for them, rather, I see people HAPPILY lining up agreeing to PAY TO ADVERTISE for the company. WTF?!?!?! AND THEIR (Abercrombie, AE, etc.) product is, as best I can tell now* no better than what I get at Mega-Lo-Mart. . .[/rant]

That said, yes, I've worn Boss, True Religion, and some other high-end jeans. Nice, soft, but not durable for my everyday wear. I've seen some really nice custom-screened Ts at boutique shops. Very cool. Would I pay $200 for 'em? Maybe, if, as I said, I were really into clothes, but I'm not.

*there was a time when some of these clothing shops provided a notably better product. However, most of the big retailers are getting as good, or nearly as good product as the boutiques. Bulk purchase contracts rock.

This is why I buy multiples of the same outfit and wear them every single day. Like Peter Griffin and Homer J. Simpson.

i like their muscle cut t shirts and polos. The t shirts fit well and are really comfortable.

[QUOTE=YoZUpZ,Dec 28 2007, 03:23 AM]Anyways, I think I'm going to go apply to be a waiter at Hooters and then sue them when they don't hire me, it should be an easy way to make some cash...
