Default adware killer? Can anyone recommend one?

Looking for a free adware killer.

Anyone have good experiences with any of these?
Please let me know which has worked for you.

Thanks!

I use adaware. Some of the newer spyware programs are getting nasty and cannot be removed by these software packages. Go to google and search for adaware and it will pop up.

I use Spybot and Adaware. Search for them on www.download.com and grab em!

I was under the same impression until I tried Spybot Search & Destroy. Now I usually run AdAware first and then Spybot.

Agreed.

AdAware doesn't nail all of these nasties. Spybot is an essential (and updatable) tool to have in your arsenal also.

Yep, i had to run spybot, mcafee (antivirus) and adaware to fix my dad's and my girl's nephew's computer. They fixed these problems:

blaster worm
bs3.dll & bsx5.dll worm?

They seem to be doing the trick!

Thanks a million guys.
