age difference...how big of an issue?
I agree with everyone else that age shouldn't be the limiting factor. Maturity and personal expectations should be. I dated a girl when I was 25 that was 29. She was a fine girl but you could tell her "clock" was ticking. After two months, she was ready to move in. From that point on, I couldn't manage her expectancy of moving in with me, and starting a whole life together. Six months earlier, I had just ended a relationship with a girl that I cared about a lot, that wound up screwing me in the back. So I wasn't anywhere near ready for something real serious. So even though we weren't that far apart in age, our expectancies of the relationship and how it would move along were.
I'm now 27 and single once again. And I have met a couple of 19/20 year olds and honestly couldn't imagine dating them. One, they rarely have had the maturity level or same expectancy level, and two, I think it would get real tired not being able to go to a bar without my girlfriend. But that's just me.
Good luck, if it's age you're worried about, don't be.

an ideal situation, since guys are always a little behind when it comes to marriage and commitment and having kids and all that, is to marry someone around 4-5 years younger...so by the time the guy is ready for all that stuff, the girl will be too.
plus there's that whole thing with the biological clock that girls have to worry about.

What happend?
Well, it wasn't really on the way and we had a bunch of people waiting so I told her I would meet her at this other place instead that was kind of halfways in between. So we get there and nothing........
ok, one more call and that is it!Ring ring. "Where are you at"..."you almost here"....
"no, come and pick me up"...........I don't like to drive at night'
"ok?....why did you say you would meet us"...we are running crazy late?"
"if you don't come and pick me up, I am not going...I don't feel like riding"
"ok, we will talk to you later then, bye"
"just f*cking come and get me"
anyway, we went out riding and had fun but my freaking phone rang about 30 freaking times. After I got home she called again and basically explained that she is very used to getting her way. I explained that I don't mind giving in but the attitude was what I had a problem with and the "yes I will meet you there" and now showing up just bugs the beejezzis out of me.
Anyway, it was pretty fun while it lasted...
