Agree or disagree to death sentence???
I have thankfully never been asked to be on a jury for such a case. I hope I never am.
I think back to a famous case here in SC of Susan Smith. Shes the one that put her kids in their carseats and drove them into a local lake then went on national TV and said that they had been kidnapped.
That case was a capital case. She in the end didnt get the death penalty, but got some votes for it. The way I see it, if the animal is vicious, untrainable, and yes I see these people as animals, and there is ANY chance they could get out of wherever we have put them, then euthanizing in the only proper course of action.
With some of these people, there could be hostage taking, (like McVeigh) and stuff like that to get him out by those who believe like him. He HAD to GO. I wont be going to any fed building next year at the date of execution though.
Though decision. Good Luck with that paper. Remember if your in a liberal institution, you had better have a good arguement if you support the death penalty or expect a C-

"The death penalty is the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.
It violates the right to life.
It is irrevocable and can be inflicted on the innocent. It has never been shown to deter crime more effectively than other punishments."

The death penalty is too lenient. The way it's done there is no pain and suffering like what the victims of these dirt bags went through. Something a lot more painful would be in order. I don't give a rat's furry butt if it doesn't deter crime. I don't even give 2 rats' furry butts if it doesn't bring back the loved ones these animals killed. It would still give one small bit of comfort knowing that these creatures paid and maybe suffered some before the lights went out. And as a tax payer, I would be comforted to know that it no longer costs us nearly $100,00.00 per person per year to keep 'em in a life of near luxury.
Disagree absolutely
There have been so many examples where convictions have been found to be flawed at a later date.
I have trouble with this hypocrisy about claiming to be Christian and violating the fifth commandment

Some of us like myself are not hypocritical since I am not a Christian(Atheist).
