I reserve a special destain (disdain damn spell check) for the french.
On the subject of cats, I forgot to mention that I have trained my kitten (Clio, I got her about a month ago) to jump through a hoop for a food reward. No kidding. She does it quite reliably. My next step is the flaming hoop...

A farmer friend of mine had his farm over run with wild cats (they breed like rabbits).
The only way to control them was to get a few shotguns and a couple of mates round.
I can report a good time was had by all.
Cats are not much better than the vermin they feed on.
