the problem w/ getting iraqis to rat out the weapons is that once they are interviewed, many disappear or have family members disappear.

it's a witness protection program for them.

 

In this country we call that "treason," and it is punishable by death. It is the highest crime against your nation. I think offering a safe haven is the least we could do. They can stay with you, right Unabageler?

 

it's not exactly treason when it's to comply with a UN resolution that the country has agreed to follow. then it's called "murder" when they're executed, or when their family members are executed.

 

I think, no matter what the rest of the world does, if you provide information on American infrastructure or military to a foreign, hostile power, it is considered spying, and since you are a US citizen when you do this, treason. I'm no expert on this, though.
