You can count me in the club...as long as there is no more of a membersip fee than to never use said word.

i'd rather some sort of creative sarcastic mockery that i could respond to with equal or greater sarcasm to said individual doing the original mocking.

Your nomination is being considered by the board.

The Anti-"Stook" Club has never had, and never will have a membership fee or dues of any kind. There are, however, extensive bylaws, the first and most important of which, you may well imagine, is indeed to never use the term in question.

It might help your case with the Officers and Board if you provided a quote explaining your dislike of the term (parenthetically, this would be one of the few exceptions to the above said bylaw).

Jim,

in that case, will you be tendering your application for membership?

Just two quick points of interest:

1) for the membership: in light of the formation of certain alternative clubs, I believe it is imperative for we, the members of the Anti-"Stook" Club, to maintain the high ground. We must not stoop to taunting, baiting, cross-posting, badgering, debating, or name-calling with these poor, misguided individuals.

2) for anyone considering membership, please be advised that the Board of Directors is giving serious discussion to beer, Tequiza, and other libational perquisites.

Thank you for your attention,

Ted

I don't like the term, so I never use it. However, it's irrelevant to me that others use and like it.
