Default Any Bboys in the forum?

Just wondering if anyone breaks on the board. I have the foot work down and i am working on the windmill. Cant seem to keep it going, just get stuck after one. Any advice would be nice.

I used to break a lot back in jr. high (about 10+ years ago). I still break whenever I get drunk

Last time I was breaking was at my brother-in-law's wedding (few weeks ago). I ended up busting a windmill + backspin combo and did a few crabs later on during the battle. It was a fun night and was all in good fun.

I was at B-Boy summit back in '94 (i think). There were breakers from all over the US that were in San Diego for the summit. It was fun back then. Things have changed a lot with what's considered "breaking".

yeah breakin' has evolved a lot in a very short time. i personally think it's a good thing just as long as a foundation is there. meaning everyone knows where/how it originated and you DANCE. i mean, all that gymnastic stuff is cool (i used to be into power, but had my share of footwork and toprock too), but it gets old after a while. Style never gets old and how bboyin' pretty much got started..

here's an old clip of me from maybe 2 years ago? in a impromptu battle.

When I was in high school, the movies Breakin' and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo were the whip. I thought break dancing died out back in 85-86.
