Sounds more like a refractory than a medical/surgical issue.
it's "refractive".
refractory means something else.

No pain, but the right eye feels kind of weird. (Might just me thinking about it though.)
Soft contacts (Disposable/2 weeks)
-1.75 on my right eye and -1.50 on the left
Other than needing contacts, I haven't had any other eye problems.

Thanks.
sorry completely forgot about this thread.
so...
it's kinda strange. a young person unable to accommodate for near.
my guesses (unless I can examine you, it's gonna be hard to determine which)

1. you accidentally got some type of atropinic drug into your eye so now you can't focus at near

2. metamorphopsia - go find an amsler grid (google it) and check with each eye (other eye covered). If it's true distortion, you've got macula problem. Again, strange for a young person to have macula problem.

3. keratoconus

4. you accidentally used someone's else contacts so you can't see with their contacts lens. try getting a fresh one out of the box. if you can see clearly then problem solved.

Just did an amsler test I printed from some website. None of the lines looked wavy or were missing, so I guess I'm fine with that?

I got a new pair of contacts from a new box yesterday, still had the same problem. No one else in the house wears contacts so I'm sure I got the correct ones.

I'll keep you guys updated.

thanks.

I had bg's problem and the eye doctor told me that if I didn't come sooner, I probably would have lost my vision.

Conclusion: GET HELP FAST.

do you take them out every night, or do you sleep with them in?

I wore mine around the clock (unless they fell out while I was sleeping) for about 3 years, it finally caught up with me. I had very blurry vision in one eye and more pain than you can every imagine one morning! I couldn't even open that eye becaues of the pain. I had to use antibiotics and some kind of numbing drops. Maybe somehow you're getting a similar case, just an earlier stage of it? I had an ulcer develope. Do you notice any sensitivity to light?

I doubt it's the case, but who knows.
