Any eye doctor's here?
When I woke up yesterday I had pretty blurry vision. It slowly came back, but is not really normal. My right eye looks pretty blurry compared to how it used to be. I wear contacts and it's obvious that my vision is not the same. Also, when I try to read something up close with my contacts in, everything gets somewhat distorted. When I take out the contacts I can read perfectly up close. This never happened before. I have an appointment for tuesday, but wanted to see if anyone here had an idea of what could possibly be wrong.
Thanks.
Thanks.
you need to give more info than that
age
pain?
type of contact lens (hard/soft)
your previous prescription
any eye history
if you don't feel comfortable talking about it in an open forum, you can PM me.
also ophthalmology diagnoses conditions alot by exam not just by history.
but from what you've said, the problem sounds like it's in the cornea. possibly corneal edema or keratoconus.

No pain, but the right eye feels kind of weird. (Might just me thinking about it though.)
Soft contacts (Disposable/2 weeks)
-1.75 on my right eye and -1.50 on the left
Other than needing contacts, I haven't had any other eye problems.
Thanks.

do you take them out every night, or do you sleep with them in?
I wore mine around the clock (unless they fell out while I was sleeping) for about 3 years, it finally caught up with me. I had very blurry vision in one eye and more pain than you can every imagine one morning! I couldn't even open that eye becaues of the pain. I had to use antibiotics and some kind of numbing drops. Maybe somehow you're getting a similar case, just an earlier stage of it? I had an ulcer develope. Do you notice any sensitivity to light?
I doubt it's the case, but who knows.

I've heard of these exact symptoms before, but they typically afflict women and are the result of a "Moe Green" that's gone terribly wrong. Hope it fixes itself, but I'm sure your doctor will be able to figure it all out when he sees you. Good luck.

I'm going to have to reschedule my appointment.
I forgot I start the second summer school session on Tuesday and my class time would conflict with the appointment time. Hopefully they can fit me in sometime soon.
