Take her out for dinner and a concert or a play. Any good theater in your area? Any good concerts around the right time? Think of groups that were popular when she was a pup. Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Kansas, Kiss, April Wine, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Chicago, Chuck Magione, Carlos Santana, etc.

I second this idea and third the Spa treatment.

This year we bought mum a day long treatment and kidnapped her to make sure she'd use it. For my partner's b'day along with little stuff like a bikini I surprised her with Cirque du Soleil tix and dinner. Win-win I reckon.

I usually get my mom a CD of whatever music she likes at the time, or a DVD set of her favorite TV show. The spa treatment is a good idea, as well as a mnicure/pedicure or something beauty related.

I don't get the first wrestling gif. The guy catches the chair and then what? The second one is hilarious though.
