Any ideas for a creative way to present a ring?

I proposed to fiance on a hot air balloon during sunrise. Might be over the top for an anniversary present but one she'll definitely remember.

I gave my g/f a ring (not an engagement ring) in a box of godive chocolates once. Slip off the ribbon, unwrap the plastic...and eat one! Then put the ring in that slot in the box.

Thanks for the ideas, I'm thinking the common theme is food, ie. dessert, in a cookie, or a box of chocolats. Anyone else?

I froze the ring in a ice cube and put it in her drink. Just make sure her drink is something fairly clear.

Can you imagine someone swallowing it! "Here honey, have some prunes, your ring will be here soon"

Well it's ordered, three stones in a platinum setting, center stone gem institute certified .76 carat, V V S2, G color, the two side stones are .26 carat each. It should look pretty good once it's finished. Maybe the box of chocolate idea?

Take her out to your S2000, pop the hood, and say "I could have gotten a Vortech Supercharger, but got you this (the ring) instead" and she will be yours forever.......
