Anybody here able to help me with my resume?
I really wanted to become an airline pilot and looked into going to Embry Riddle in AZ 8 years ago. Kind of glad I didn't after reading your post. However, an old neighbor of mine was making 150k + as a standby pilot for American Airlines. He fly's the 777 to Tokyo and London out of LAX. He did the whole navy pilot thing and got his flight hours and then got and went to the airlines. Took him a long time to get his hours but he's rolling now. If you can do your time, in 5-10 years you'll probably doing great.
Otherwise go into the IT field. I started making 10 bucks an hour at first, but now really close to the six fig mark and that was after 6 years in the field. With experience and more education I'm hoping that to increase. It can be stressful at time, but you can be on S2KI all day long! lol
Either way, if you do decided to change careers you'll have to work your way up, but life's too short to have a job you despise going to every day.

Joe, you do alright at Rutgers? How's your GPA? Ever think about going back to school? Maybe get your MBA? You have job experience which will look good when applying. Although the situation isn't as good as it was, i'll be applying to law school in the next few months and hopefully give myself some more job options.
