Default Anybody here been skydiving?

I wanna give skydiving a try. Freefalling for 90 seconds will surely be a highlight in my life.

I need to find some brave friends to go though...most of them laugh at me when i suggest going skydiving...

Any experiences?

Bryan

Great fun, really scary, really feels like a personal accomplishment when you are done.

The other great thing is that it gave me a totally revised view on my fears. Fears and worries that had seemed big seemed much smaller after jumping. I recommend it as a must-do!

Skydiving: worrying for 10 minutes then jumping out of a plane that is a quite a few thousand feet above ground, and having the most liberated feeling you could ever have. Highly recommended, just make sure to do it on a HOT day... and with little wind

Why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Seriously, if I were a few years younger (and healthier), I'd try it.

I went skydiving in 95. I went out at 13,000 feet and at about 5,000 I
pulled the chute. Unfortunately I didn't get a canopy. I had to use the
reserve. I did get a canopy until less than 2,000 feet.

I fell two miles.

When I landed a gal landed next to me and she said "Oh you had
a malfunction."

Not the word that came to my mind.

Later that summer the place was shut down after someone
died.
