Default Anyone done a Psych Eval for a job?

On Friday I have to do a 4 hour psychological evaluation before I can be hired for a job. I'm not sure what test it is though I've been told it may be the MMPI. Has anyone had to do one of these?

wow, i never did one that long what i commonly hear is don't think to hard into the questions, just use your first instinct and go from there. it really is wild how they can pretty much "know" what kind of personality you have just by random questions

Yeah, and it's really tedious because they're mostly (if not all) yes/no questions, and they kind of blend together after a while. Some bizarre questions, obviously, but make sure to pay attention so you don't accidentally answer "Yes" to "Do you want to kill your mother?". The best part was being interviewed by a psychologist a few weeks after the test.

Yeah i think it's kind of the point to get you into a relaxed state where you aren't over thinking and grafting your answers into what you think is desired. It sounds like it might be psychological/personality with that kind of length.

Should be fun! Make sure you get a copy of your results, whether they offer it to you or not. You have a right to review any files kept about yourself whether they want to show you or not. In some cases they are allowed to charge a very small administrative fee to collect and release them all to you though.

My dad took one eons ago for his job. It's a lot of the "Who would you rather kill, your father, or your mother?" questions, and some other wacky stuff.

Relax, just take it. Don't sweat it. . . unless of course you're wearing a tin foil cap right now as you're reading this. . .

Not necessarily, if you have a talent for skewing tests...

What time is it? Now...what other time is there.

Haha ya these are cake if you are in a healthy state of mind, and as the old man says, if you can skew a test, even easier!
