Took one out tonight as a matter of fact.

Gotta say it kills last years Maxima for style and smoothness. I was shocked. I've been a Maxima fan forever, and the new Altima outclasses it. They didn't have a new max or I would have tried it as well, but they didn't.

It just destroy's the accord in my mind. If I was in the market for such a beast that would be it.

Very nice fit and finish, very quick, and pretty smooth. Renault has certainly made a huge difference in the Nissan lineup.

You'll like it I'm sure

Vince

Hmm... maybe I will talk the wife into getting one of these.

240 HP, V6, 17" wheels, leather package ... all for $23K; definitely beats her getting another Accord. Plus I would not mind driving it every once in a while (to ensure the V6 sees the upper end )

Doesn't come with many options though. By the time you throw in the leather, sunroof, HIDs and good stereo you are treading dangerously close to Acura TL territory, which has al those stock + it is a Honda product.

I haven't driven one, but I saw one on the road yesterday. It didn't look too bad. Too bad didn't get a chance to test it's performance, if you know what I mean.

I watched PBS' Motor Week review of the new 3.5 liter 5 speed Altima. They clocked a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds. I want one.
