Default Who Owns an 03 Accord?

I was hoping to get some member feedback on the 03 (sedan) - my wife and I are considering it (along with the Pilot and MDX). I really like a lot of the new features - we would probably be looking at an EX (maybe V6) with the Nav.

I currently own an 01 Accord EX Sedan and have been very disappointed with its depreciation - granted, the 03 model may have something to do with this....

I have an '03 Accord EX 4 banger, leather and all the bells and whistles you can get on the 4 banger. Drives GREAT, handles well (as well as can be expected), good gas mileage, quiet, comfortable, and just a plain good car!

I didn't quite like the V6 - off the line response seems better with the 4 banger. My wife drives it so she could care less about the extra ponies. I like to drive it because it's far quieter than most of the luxomobiles on the market.

Give it a test drive, I'm sure you'll be sold. As for depreciation, I can say all Accords have better dep. than my Maxima did...

Thanks for the input Rich.

We did test drive the V6 tonight - very impressive. Many of the new interior features are excellent (dual zone climate control, heated seats, etc.) I think we are leaning towards this model with the Nav - I've heard a lot of good things about its voice activation features.

One thing though, I really hate the OEM wheels on the EX-V6, but I really love the OEM wheels on the EX 4 banger.

I got my wife an 03 Accord EX-V6. The engine is incredibly quiet and the ride is smooth. The interior is one of the best ever designed in this class. The seats are excellent--comfortable and supportive. Stereo is good--clean performance if you don't crank it too high. Engine is excellent--haven't really pushed it but even taking it easy we've still managed to teach other cars a valuable lesson about challenging the best 3.0 V6 ever made. The ride is good--handles most road imperfections with ease and still imparts good feel without being harsh. The handling is good--it feels wobbly at first (I'm used to the s2k after all) but it takes corners surprisingly well for such a nose heavy car and sticks more than you'd expect. The more I drive it, the happier I am that we got it.

Thanks for the input guys.... Rich - are your OEM wheels 5 lug? I posted a WTB thread on Honda-Acura.net for them and I was told that they may only be 4 (whereas the 6 Cyl is 5). Based on the pictures on Honda's website, they both look like they are 5 though...??

We also stopped by the Infiniti dealer and drove a G35 Coupe and the new FX35, and all I have to say is WOW. The FX35 blew me away. We drove one with the Tech Package which included just about every option available (20" Alloys!?) We probably will not go this way because I do not feel overly confident about its resale value, but it was definitely nice enough for me to think twice.

Have either of you checked out the DVD Rear Entertainment System?

Also, based on what I've read at HandA, it looks like fog lights and the external temperature sensor accessories are mutually exclusive... any idea(s) why?
