How does it "feel" in comparison to the S2000? I love the visceral excitement the Stook ellicits, especially as it wails to 9K rpms. So am looking something similar, but with 4 seats Any comments is appreciated, as I intend to purchase one soon (and none around here are available for test drives

TIA

A few people have test driven it on the board but what it really boils down to is *you* having to drive it to find out if it satisfies *your* needs.

The Bimmer will be a little less connected, alot heavier but also faster and with the capability to seat 4... it'll also have all the creature comforts and room a bigger car can only give you. What you lose will be the extreme nimbleness the stook has, the convertible aspect if you don't get the M3 conv. Most impressions of the engine have it being very revvy with that lovely low-end torque. I can't wait, 3 months till I get mine.

If you really want to drive it, get on a list somewhere in the neighborhood that will give one. I heard about a place in the east of the bay area doing demo rides in the LSB car for those on the list, not sure if it's still available since the car was presold to a buyer after said test drives (personally I wouldn't buy that car!).

Of if you're jonesin' for one, there are several places that have them in stock at over MSRP prices. Allison BMW to name one. Try and play the numbers game with them and tell them you want to test drive it after you shoot numbers. Drive it, then walk!
