I keep getting calls from this stupid company. I did a search and it seems they are a scam company calling random people about dept they owe. Only problem is there seems to be no way to stop them from calling.

My wife has been getting some strange calls too. She called one number back and the recorded message said:

"Thank you for calling card member services. Please enter your 16 digit card number."

LOL, yeah right.

Yeah, that's what's gonna suck about it. I've been calling them back and talking smack for fun since they like to call me.

I've been noticing an increased number of telemarketing calls where script is they'll ask for a random person & when I tell them they've got the wrong number, they'll say that they've got a great offer for me even tho I'm not the person their asking for.

When I get telemarketers at work, I just transfer them to someone else.

w/ my VoIP service, I have selective call-forwarding. Therefore, when I get a call from a telemarketer, if they leave a callback number... I simply setup my call-forwarding so that any calls from them go directly to their callback number.

Edit: Actually, I don't get telemarketing calls because I'm on the Do Not Call list, but I do still get calls that I assume are for debt collectors looking for someone that I don't even know. Even if I call them back and tell them that person doesn't live here, I've found that they still call back in a month. So, I don't even bother with them any more... just program 'em for call forwarding.
