I don't have her any more, but my dog used to sleep like that. I had to have her put down last year when she got cancer.
Usually when she would lay on her back like this when she was awake, she was a little more bashful and would curl her tail up to cover up her private area.

Sorry for your loss,.. I had another yellow lab that passed the year before I got Bo (the two year old). It still sucks thinking about it, I miss that dog more than most people I've known
My Choco Lab used to sleep like that. Vet said it was a good sign that his hips were in good condition (no displaysia). He also used to sleep on our leather couches and was very gentle, no scratches at all, only the occasional spit mark .
