Anyone else have a dog this wierd?

My 3 year old yellow lab sleeps any way he feels like. He loves to hog the space in front of the space heater. He sleeps on the couch at night and has been scolded enough about it that when I open the door from the hallway to the family area he gets down no matter how sleepy he is to pretend he was never up there.

My 6 month old child just started playing with him. She loves the feel of his fur. My 2 year old calls him Kuckie (His name is Lucky). He used to call him Kuckia.

When I had my German Shepherd, she slept like that. My current Lhasa Apso also sleeps like that.

My German Shepherd is 7 and she will lay like that for 10 minutes or so, but doesn't sleep in that position. Sometimes she does it to get her chest and tummy rubbed, and sometimes she gyrates like she's trying to scratch her back. She's not allowed on the furniture. Wasn't trained that way, just never got up on anything, even as a puppy.

Completely normal. Both of my dogs do it. One is a lab and the other is australian border collie.
