anyone ever encounter with ghost??
I had an experience similar to that. I was living in Hollywood at the time and I looked out my window while laying in bed. I noticed an unusual looking star, then while it was looking at it, it just zipped away really quickly.
Later that night, I awoke and felt paralyzed. I heard a muffled scuffing sound and to my left (I slept on an airmattress on the floor), I could see those little gray aliens scurrying about my room. They were going through my things and I could hear their feet on my carpet. It was really weird though, like time was sped up, so it looked like stop motion video or something. I was so terrified I couldn't move or speak and I certainly did not want them knowing that I was awake.
Like you, I closed my eyes tight and wished them away. I gasped for air and when I opened my eyes they were gone. I had to get up and turn every light in my apartment on I was so scared. I watched TV until the sun came up, then I went back to sleep. That's the only time in my life I've had to turn on the lights and wait for the sun. I have never, ever been that scared. Not even with the ghost things.

Well I really don't believe in sprits spooks and the supernatural at all ... but:
Some years ago, I'd got well into a book and couldn't put it down. It was 3a.m. and I was sitting on a sofa the back of which was up against full length curtains which were closed. It was a warm summer might and a small transom window was open for ventilation behind the curtains. The room lights were on and the curtains were a printed fabric type which would let anyone outside see that the lights were on. There was absolute silence as I was engrossed in the book. I suddenly felt the curtains brush against the back of my head and at the same time heard a scraping, rustling noise which sounded like someone putting an arm through the window. My blood ran cold and I froze for what seemed a couple of seconds. but was probably longer. I eventually let out an involuntary shout (Which my wife later said woke her up). I turned to face the window with every hair on my body standing up, and watched the curtain in the area of the transom window moving in and out about a foot or 18 inches accompanied all the while by this scraping sound!
Regaining my composure, I grabbed a heavy metal poker and sprang the half dozen paces to the front door. Throwing the door open, I rushed out and looked at the window, The curtains were perfectly still with no movement whatsoever. There was not a breath of wind, the air was very still and heavy. Furthermore the area around was very open with nowhere for anyone to hide from view. I was extremely rattled for days by the whole thing and I'm still at a loss to explain what phenomenon or critter might have been responsible!
In case anyone's thinking it was my reading matter contributing it was 'The Choirboys' by Joseph Wambaugh.

The pattern to many of these incidents are that they happen when people are half asleep or quite tired. In this semi hypnotic state the human brain can begin to dream (even with your eyes open) and you can be fooled into thinking you saw or heard something, just for a fleeting moment.
Get more sleep and stay off the illegal substances, you will be fine.
