Happened to me a few times when I was a teen/preteen. Exactly the same as all of you are describing. Unable to move my legs, felt/dreamed i was walking in sand, tried to yell but no sound, hard to breathe etc.

Good to know others have this haha. Sucks trying to breath when it's going on. Seems to happen to my when I'm really tired and stay up late I think.

my friends talked about this all the time. but for them, they believed that it was a ghost sitting on them which is why it was hard to breathe and couldn't move.

So far I haven't really got scared that something else was there or something on top of me. Just scary cause I can hardly breath, can't move or speak.

Read some of that other post. Funny how people really get the exact same feelings when it happens. Last night after it happened once it kept almost happening again. I was able to stop it a few times. Half my body was kinda paralysized then. I stopped it a few times and smacked my face to prevent it hah. Was weird though. When I was stopping it I got really tingly and stuff and my face felt like it was going numb. As much as I hate it I kinda want to feel it again. Closest seeming thing to like an out of body experience or something like that hahah. Weird stuff.

As many times as I have had this happen to me, it still scares me each time. The feeling of being awake and yet totally helpless is terrifying. The fact that I can't move or breath isn't to fun either
