well i didnt do IT so i dont know how well that program is but i got my associate and also am a certified draftsman only because our teacher went through the entire certification test with us so it looked like i knew a lot but i really didnt and most of the work you learn on the job...so no matter what school u go to it doesnt really matter as long as u graduate cause everything changes when u start a job...but overall i think its a good school they really did help me a lot

Yea, especially with IT, almost everyting you really use and need to know, is learned from experience. If I were you and had hopes of getting a bachelors some time in the future, I would go to a community college. Save $$ and get a (arguably) better education.

YEAH THATS EXACTLY WHAT I PLAN ON DOIN BUT DOWN HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA NO SCHOOL OFFERS THE BACHELORS DEGREE IN COMPUTER DRAFTING SO I MIGHT HAVE TO MOVE UP TO ORLANDO OR TAMPA FOR THAT BUT IM DOING GOOD RIGHT NOW SO IM IN NO RUSH

You really don't need any certifications to get a job, you need to know what you're talking about in the interview.

If you want a certification, get a copy of the software, go get a book and study. You don't have to go to any dumb classes that spoonfeed you information out of a $75 book you just bought.

I've been to many "technical classes", but the instructors are idiots. The only one that have been worth while was at Microsoft in Redmond, but then again, the teacher actually wrote the software we worked with (MS Content Server).

The IT market was bad a few years ago, but now, it's not that bad.
