Scot what did you have to sign for the deal? Let me know, I can find $500 if it really will be around $30k. The lease on the Saab will be up by then.

I called 2 local places... the first one already had 2 people on the list. So the second place I started the list. $500 "refundable if customer does not like price or color" was their wording, which works for me. Not sure if you have enough mitsu places in NYC or want to call the local place down here to be #2.

O ya... Paragon Honda...sheesh... what a bunch of Bullshitters... they first claimed they knew you (dan), then remembered me, then tried to tell me white was the most expensive S2000, then realized they didn't know me or you, then offered to sell me a '02 for "not that low" (when i told them about $31k for a new blue one in New Hampshire), so...... i gave up...they called again yesterday but i luckily was not home.

I called like three or four DFW area Mitsu dealers trying to get on a list for an EVO VII. The ones that did have a list wanted $4 or $5k over sticker so I said no thanks.

I am leaning towards not getting one now. I want something else more so I sit and wait until I get more info.

What do you want more than a EVO ? The STI would probably be a small amount lighter and possibly slightly more horsepower.?

I know...one of those Kia Sedona's.

After my experience with the s2k I am never buying a first year production car no matter how much I want. Same goes for the evo 7 granted it has 12 year old 4g63 engine thats been proven but there is still a lot of crap that can go wrong, especially in a mitsu.
