Yeah, I did most of my exploring back when I was in high school (cause I was a minor and couldn't go to jail unless I killed someone ). We had a few cool places in my hometown. My favorite was an old semi abandoned aluminum plant. It was HUGE and pretty creepy looking on the inside.

Back in high school some friends and I explored an old abandoned hospital late one night. Don't ever explore an old abandoned hospital late at night, too many dead people.

We had one of those too, but it was literally about to fall down so no one every really explored there to much.

I visited the old abandoned Glendale Hospital here in Maryland. Thing is super freaky! Just smells like death. They say the dead used to be incinerated there.

Interesting timing. I just read that there was a fire yesterday at the old Rosewood state mental hospital. They closed it down a couple of years ago. It's only about 3 mi from me. So I did an image search for the place. Looks like it's a favorite among photographers. Some interesting and freaky shots at THIS link. Here's one of them



Apparently there have been several fires there in the last few years.
