Hey Aft3rburn, even though they might not intend to knock you out, you'll probably end up falling asleep anyways...when I had minor surgery on my hand, they gave me the anesthetic and I was out in 3 seconds...woke up with a big cast on my hand, didn't know what was going on and apparently I started hitting myself on the head while remarking, "I bet you can club someone to death with this!" Later on when they asked me if I wanted something to drink, I asked for apple juice, then proceeded to state, "You know, if I were on death row, I'd drink apple juice in my last meal!" I was all messed up from that stuff!

 

Before having the procedure done, you might consider renting "Marathon Man" (Is it safe?).
